Environment policy

AM System’s environment policy is based on the fact that the earth’s resources are finite. We continually strive to develop, evaluate and improve our environmental efforts.

We do this by:
- Informing our staff about and encouraging them to actively integrate our environment policy and our environmental efforts into their daily activities.
- Taking environmental aspects into consideration when purchasing goods and services. The supplier’s environmental efforts and the most environmentally friendly alternatives should be considered when making purchases.
- Encouraging our customers, when possible, to be proactive in protecting the environment.
- Reducing our use of consumable goods as much as possible, for example, by sending documentation electronically.
- Reducing the amount of energy used by computers and other devices that are needed in our work. Lights are to be turned off when rooms are unoccupied.
- Choosing environmentally friendly paper for use in printing and when producing printed materials.
- Reducing company travel by holding product demonstrations online. Travel to and from the workplace by foot, bicycle, public transportation and carpooling is encouraged.
- Encouraging our staff to recycle both at work and at home, and to reduce the use of disposable products that cannot be recycled.
